1. Drink lots of water. Our body is composed of 75% water. We need to keep our cells hydrated to keep the skin supple and to prevent the cells from aging fast.
2. Use sunscreen. Protect your skin from the sun’s harmful UV rays. Increasing cases of skin cancer are reported every year. Use SPF 15 for 15 20–30 years old and use SPF 35 and above for those more than 30 years old.
3. Watch what you eat. Eat a healthy balanced diet every meal. Avoid fatty food, which is rich in Omega 6—this clogs the arteries that might cause further sickness.

This type of skin aging is more associated with environmental factors such as pollution which can not only irritate skin but cause it to age prematurely. Extended exposure to the sun is one way to assure hasty skin aging. It can also cause the nasty condition we all know as sunburn, a bit longer and you may even get skin cancer. Pollutants in the air can also cause cells on the skin to die as well as artificial pollution such as work-related exposure to toxic chemicals such as ozone, a by product of laser printers and photocopiers. There are even some chemicals in laboratories and factories that not only harms the skin but internal organs, with some so toxic they can irritate the skin in minute amounts.
There are a lot of creams and lotions that contain ample amounts of anti-oxidants that blocks anti-oxidants and don’t forget your sunblock or better yet, select skin care products that have built-in sun protection. These cosmetics come as effective and cost effective alternatives to get your skin looking good all over and best of all you get too look younger without any drastic changes to your lifestyle.

This is a more specific name for aging from the inside (hence the name), which is more due to our genes which can indeed influence the speed at which we age. Though all of us are going to age at some time in our adult life, it is part of the process but you can maintain younger looking skin with a proper balance of foods rich in anti-oxidants such as berries and other identified super foods. These foods contain active compounds that counteracts the damage caused by free radicals, or compounds which causes premature aging in cells eventually leading to death. There are also some genetic problems that does hasten such aging that causes cell sof the body to die prematurely. But overall, we will all age as stated, but healthy diet and a healthy lifestyle will indeed prolong our lives and our skin’s health, well into old age.

The sun is one of the many factors that allowed life to evolve on our planet thanks to it’s wondrous powers of life. The sun’s rays allows the human body to synthesize vitamin D which is vital for survival, activated in the skin in some way that has been programmed in our genes through millions of years of evolution. The sun is the giver and also the taker of life for it has the ability to give life, as with trees and plants, but also has the ability to kill such as the case of over-exposure to it’s harmful rays. Years of pollution has resulted in a gaping hole in the earth’s poles that is growing year by year increasing the amount of UV rays from the sun that gets through to us causing many a debilitating diseases. Skin cancer results from over-exposure to the sun’s UV rays that turns skin cells into cancerous ones due to damage in their genetic materials. The bad thing is that a severe sunburn today, can haunt you in fifteen years or so, the damaged DNA lying dormant in wait for the prime time to propagate and spread to other skin cells. Using VCO protects the skin against damage from environmental pollutants and from the damaging rays of the sun, giving it a younger, healthier glow. It also helps in healing and restoring damaged tissues.

You get the itch and run off to the dermatologist to get it checked and you find out there’s nothing wrong, so what gives? Stress, for stress has a very distinct effect on our physiology that the body can react in very unpredictable ways, yes even your itchy skin. One of the reasons for this is that high stress levels may reduce the anti-microbial abilities of your skin lessening its effectivity against the simplest invaders. The skin, as we know is the human body’s largest organ and serves as our first defense against the dangerous world we live in. Our skin is like a breathable jacket that lets sweat out but leaves all other vital fluids in. that’s why a scratch or scrape can be a bit more irritating than a cut. The more surface of your skin is affected, the more nerve endings are exposed so the pain.

Many of the facial maladies we suffer from are more often than not surely related to improper or inadequate cleaning of the face. There are many processes that are recommended as well as a ton of varying products that are aimed to do so. Most work but some don’t and cause more harm than good. Be sure to check around for the ones that sell best and contain only natural extracts meaning no synthesized chemicals. Most synthesized chemicals though similar in structure and efficacy to natural ones have side effects so check for active contents and ingredients. Exfoliation is good but use it sparingly, twice a week is best for too much can irritate skin leaving you with ugly scars. I one needs to have them removed, take them to the professionals so proper force is applied reducing scarring.
